Department of Unemployment Assistance
If you find yourself without a job and are capable of working, you might qualify for a short-term financial support known as unemployment insurance (UI).
If eligible, you will receive weekly payments aimed at assisting you with living expenses during your job search. The payment amount is determined by your earnings in the previous year. The Department of Unemployment Assistance (DUA) oversees the UI program in Massachusetts.
